Advanced gynecological laparoscopic surgery: the simplified approach

Advanced gynecological laparoscopic surgery: the simplified approach

We believe the acquisition path of these objectives can be more accessible and immediate through direct participation in the activities of the center than an exclusive model of classroom teaching.
The organization of the course based on access to the operating room, already widely tested at our facility, ensures participants the possibility of a direct confrontation with the team, and therefore a learning mode certainly less formal but secure effective . The course is intended for physicians, surgeons, specialists in Gynaecology and Obstetrics, with experience in endoscopic surgical activities, and participation is limited to 8 participants to date.

The aim is to compare the current application possibilities of the laparoscopic approach in gynecological surgery, now expanded by the treatment of benign disease with a high degree of complexity (infiltrating pelvic endometriosis, severe uterine fibromatosis, etc.) to the oncological disease, sometimes also advanced.
We strongly believe that, in addition to the extensive anatomical knowledge, the mastery of surgical techniques and experience of large numbers, the cornerstone of a correct approach is the simplification of procedures and the instrumentation, also with the goal of standardizing ways of learning and making these principles reproducible in everyday clinical practice.

FOCUS ON
  • Advanced pelvic surgery in infiltrating endometriosis and gynecological oncology;
  • Laparoscopic surgery with use of spies Full HD 3D technology and tools with Harmonic ultrasonic technology;
  • Technique of sentinel node with ICG (Indocyanin Green) in the approach to endometrial and cervical cancer.

OBIETTIVI FORMATIVI
  • Transmit the basic principles simplified approach to advanced pelvic surgery and the correct indications for minimally invasive surgery;;
  • Highlight the benefits of 3D technology and Harmonic technology in surgical practice;
  • Technical and role of sentinel node in surgical oncology;
  • Illustrate a possible endoscopic surgery center model of organization "Pelvic Surgeon Based".
